How Do I Know if My Item is Standard or Bulky?

We have compiled a large list of the most common standard and bulky items. If your item is not on the list and you need help please contact us or call 888-MOVE-601.

How quickly can I arrange service?

Ideally we would like three days to arrange service for your delivery. However, if you need immediate service we are more than happy to try and assist you. We ask that for any delivery within 24 hours you call us at 1-888-MOVE-601.

Does Craigslist Delivery guarantee service?

While we make every effort possible, sometimes service cannot be provided due to availability, location or other factors. When your order is submitted we work diligently to get your service setup. If we cannot setup your service within 24 hours we will notify you and refund your deposit.

Does Craigslist Delivery guarantee satisfaction?

Craigslist Delivery does guarantee your satisfaction! We work hard to satisfy all of our clients, if you have an issue with the delivery please contact us immediately.

Why is there a deposit?

Your 15% deposit is necessary to schedule your delivery because we immediately schedule your service. When we do this, we are taking up a block of time on a delivery companies schedule. It is imperative that you be serious about your delivery in order to facilitate the process.

What is your cancellation policy?

Craigslist Delivery requires 48 hours notice to cancel your service. During the summer months (April-August) we require 72 hours notice. This is primarily due to the heavy volume of customers requiring service. If cancellation is made prior to the cut off time, a full refund of the deposit will be issued. If cancellation is made within 24-47 hours (48-71 hours during this summer months) a 50% refund will be given. If less notice is given, a refund will not be issued.

Can I change my reservation?

Yes, but we require at least 48 hours notice. If 48 notice is not provided and we cannot make the requested change, the scheduled delivery will be canceled in conjunction with the CraigslistDelivery.Com cancellation policy.

Are the delivery companies licensed & insured?

While many companies are licensed and insured, not all are. We are adamant about customer satisfaction and we do require our delivery companies to meet our high standards.

How Does Payment Work?

CraigslistDelivery.Com takes a 15% deposit at the time of reservation.
This is done through our secure payment process and must completed
with a credit card. The remaining balance is due to the delivery
company upon completion of the appointment.

How Can I Pay the Delivery Company?

For final payment on site cash is required unless other payments methods have been approved by the Agent. Please discuss final billing with your Agent during the confirmation phone call.

Are There Any Additional Fees?

The CraigslistDelivery.Com Service Providers adhere to the CraigslistDelivery Price Agreement. If all the information provided during the booking process is correct, there are no additional fees. If additional variables or items are present at the origin or destination that were not noted during the booking process they will be charged for on site. Variables that may affect your charges are the number of stops, mileage, number of items, stairs, elevators, long carries, etc.

What Happens If I am Unable to Make My Appointment?

If you are unable to make your scheduled delivery time and do not reschedule with a CraigslistDelivery Representative you will be charged a cancellation fee as per our cancellation policy. Furthermore, CraigslistDelivery will charge you a $35 "No Show Fee" which will be paid to the delivery company for their time

What is a Long Carry?

A long carry is considered a distance of over 75' from the origin or destination. If the Service Providers are required to walk more than 75' from the truck to the origin/destination a Long Carry Fee will be assessed.

What is Considered a Flight of Stairs?

10 stairs or less is considered 1 flight.

What Items Does CraigslistDelivery.Com NOT Move?

At this time CraigslistDelivery will not schedule delivery for pool tables, baby grand piano's, grand piano's and tanning beds. It is highly recommend you contact a specialty delivery company in your area to crate these items.
What About Assembly/Dis-Assembly?

CraigslistDelivery.Com asks that items being delivered be dis-assembled prior to our arrival. While some Agents may have the required tools for dis-assembly and re-assembly we cannot guarantee this service. We recommend speaking directly with the Agent during your confirmation call to determine the availability of this service.

What Type of Vehicle Will be Used?

CraigslistDelivery.Com has many different types of Agents. Some are moving companies, others are small delivery companies. We allow our Agents to utilize cargo vans, box trucks, pick up trucks, trailers and in some cases, junk removal trucks. Each Agent assigned to a job will have the correct type of equipment to accommodate your delivery size.
